Definitions for common iSearchFrom terms.
AI Visibility
Section titled “AI Visibility”The product area that monitors brand and competitor presence in AI-generated responses.
Campaign
Section titled “Campaign”A saved recurring setup for SERP Position Tracker, Ads Position Tracker, or AI Visibility.
One unit of work inside a campaign run. A check may represent one keyword, prompt, platform, or location combination.
Direct Search
Section titled “Direct Search”A tool that builds a Google or Bing search URL and redirects you to the search engine.
Map pin
Section titled “Map pin”An exact latitude/longitude location used for proxy searches.
Geo-grid
Section titled “Geo-grid”A square of coordinates around a business, searched point by point, so Maps rank can be read as coverage across an area rather than a single number.
Local pack
Section titled “Local pack”The three local results on an ordinary Google Search page. A different product from the Maps canvas, with its own ranking and its own ad inventory.
Project
Section titled “Project”A folder-like grouping for searches and campaigns.
Proxy search
Section titled “Proxy search”A captured search run through Search Engine Proxy.
One scheduled or manual execution of a campaign.
Search Engine Proxy
Section titled “Search Engine Proxy”A tool that captures search result pages and stores structured results inside iSearchFrom.
Search engine results page.
Local Presence Score
Section titled “Local Presence Score”How visible a business is across its whole grid, scored 0–100, where 100 is rank 1 at every active point. Each point earns credit for how high it ranks, decaying to nothing past #20, so a business sitting at #4 everywhere scores differently from one at #50 everywhere. Switched-off points are excluded rather than counted as misses.

Organization
Section titled “Organization”The team or business account that holds projects, searches, campaigns, members, billing, and API keys.

Section titled “Open in iSearchFrom”Open app home in the app. Use the app sidebar and organization selector to connect these terms to the product areas you use.
